Paraprofessional - Lansdowne, PA (19050)

Location: Lansdowne, PA

We are currently hiring a compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to support students in an educational setting in Lansdowne, PA. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with special education teachers to assist students with their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students with special needs in both individual and group settings.
  • Assist with the implementation of IEPs and daily lesson plans.
  • Support students in developing academic, social, and life skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual interview with the school district
  • Offer typically extended within 24-48 hours post-interview
