School Psychologist Needed for the 2024/2025 School Year

Location: Forest Park, IL

Start Date: October 7, 2024

End Date: June 6, 2025

Hours:37.50 hours per week (working teacher contract hours on student contact days)

Days: Monday - Friday

Pay: $48-53 per hour; Based on relevant experience

Caseload: Approximately 75 students; the candidate can make their own schedule, choosing to work at one site per day or travel to multiple sites as desired.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Forest Park. This district-wide position offers flexibility, including the possibility of one day working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Team Lead for case management.
  • Provide mental health services and support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student well-being and academic success.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with diverse needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Proven experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-8 students.
  • Strong understanding of psychological principles and educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
  • Masters degree in School Psychology preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
