ProCare Therapy - Full-Time, Start ASAP

ProCare Therapy is looking for a qualified Middle School Special Education Teacher for a resource and co-teaching role in North St. Paul ISD 622 at John Glenn Middle School. This is a full-time position starting ASAP and continuing through the 2024-2025 school year. The teacher will assist in SPED Language Arts and/or Math for a middle school caseload.

Job Information:

  • Location: John Glenn Middle School, 1560 East County Road B, Maplewood, MN 55109
  • Caseload: Resource Teacher Pullout and Co-Taught SPED Language Arts & Math
  • Hours: Approx. 37.5 hours/week (7:00 am 3:00 pm)
  • Start Date: ASAP - End of the 2024-2025 school year
  • Interview Process: In-person

Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support for students with disabilities in pullout and co-teaching settings
  • Assist with developing and implementing IEPs
  • Support students in Math and Language Arts through individualized and group instruction
  • Monitor student progress, provide accommodations, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to ensure students are fully included in the learning process

Qualifications:

  • MN Special Education License required
  • Previous experience teaching middle school SPED Language Arts or Math preferred
  • Knowledge of co-teaching strategies and resource room management
  • Ability to implement IEPs and differentiate instruction
