Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? Do you have experience or certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)? We're excited to announce a full-time position for an RBT to join our team in Butler, AL, for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Butler, AL
Start Date: August 10, 2024
End Date: May 23, 2025
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral support services as a related service to elementary school students in the district
  • Work with a caseload of approximately 15-20 students district-wide
  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
  • Document student progress and behavior data regularly

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Experience working with children with special needs preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
