We are seeking several experienced Maintenance Technicians on night shift for a plastics packaging facility in Plant City, FL. Pay rates start at $31.60 hr DOE

Ideal candidates have an upbeat and positive attitude and at least 3 years of production maintenance experience.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for achieving a high level of reliability for plant equipment through performing tasks required to maintain equipment and minimize downtime. This individual will use their training and knowledge to perform equipment/process/system maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, make repairs and identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must be able to learn and improve skills and knowledge about equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Will work on electrical systems up to 480 Volts.
  • Expected to have strong knowledge and experience with PLC’s, AC/DC motors controls, other electric/electronic devices.
  • Run conduit and other cable management systems.
  • Mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic and building repairs.
  • Correctly report spare parts usage.
  • Maintaining housekeeping and organization.

Qualifications

  • You will need 3-5 years’ experience within an industrial setting.
  • Must have knowledge of PLC, VFDs, and other electrical/electronic devices.
  • Able to understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics and systems. Use this ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office, CMMS.
  • Proficient use of applicable electronic measuring and diagnostic tools; multimeter, circuit locator, thermal imaging equipment.
  • Maintaining technical knowledge; course training and continued education required.
