Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Remote (Serving students in Georgia)
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments via virtual platforms to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and in collaboration with the educational team.
• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in a virtual environment.
• Utilize a variety of teletherapy tools and resources to engage students effectively.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet IEP goals.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant meetings.
• Provide training and support to teachers and parents to reinforce speech and language development strategies at home and in the classroom.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, student progress, and any relevant communications.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including adherence to IEP timelines and Medicaid billing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Georgia state SLP license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SLP in a school setting.
• Experience with teletherapy or virtual education platforms is highly desirable.
