Job Title: Full-Time School Paraprofessional
Location: Deerfield, IL

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Full-Time School Paraprofessional to join our team in Deerfield, IL. The paraprofessional will assist teachers and support staff in the classroom by providing direct instructional and behavioral support to students. This position plays a critical role in helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in classroom management and lesson preparation.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students, particularly those with special needs.
  • Support students in their daily activities, including academic tasks and social interaction.
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of special education teachers.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); associates or bachelors degree in education or related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support student needs.
