Responsibilities of an Intervention Specialist:

As an Intervention Specialist with ProCare Therapy, youll:

  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create individualized education plans tailored to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students.
  • Deliver Targeted Instruction: Provide specialized instruction to help students succeed academically and socially.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with educators, staff, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Monitor Student Progress: Regularly track and adjust interventions based on student progress to ensure success.
  • Foster an Inclusive Classroom Environment: Cultivate a positive, supportive environment where all students can thrive.
Qualifications for Intervention Specialist Positions:

To be considered for an Intervention Specialist role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelors degree in Special Education, Intervention Specialist, or a related field.
  • Certification: A valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License.
  • Experience: Experience working with students with academic and/or behavioral challenges, and demonstrated success with IEP implementation.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
