Job Description

Our client is seeking two small parts assemblers to join their team in their Londonderry, NH facility. The facility specializes in precision metal forming and works with clients in various industries to create magnetic shielding for electronic devices. The small parts team specializes in working with aerospace and medical device clients. This role involves repetitive tasks and the use of basic hand tools, metal crimpers, and some spot welding to create small cylindrical and square/rectangular metal pieces that are inserted into customer equipment to create magnetic shields.

Responsibilities
  • Perform repetitive tasks throughout the day at seated workstations.
  • Use basic hand tools, metal crimpers, and spot welding equipment.
  • Create small cylindrical and square/rectangular metal pieces for magnetic shielding.
  • Ensure high attention to detail and maintain excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Inspect assembled parts for quality and accuracy.
Essential Skills
  • Production assembly experience.
  • Ability to inspect parts for quality.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools.
  • Mechanical assembly skills.
  • Strong hand/eye coordination.
  • Comfort working with small parts in volume.

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting with about 50 total employees, including office, design, and engineering staff. The plant is separated into two areas: small assembly/receiving and machining/shipping. Small assembly workstations are all seated and the area is very quiet throughout the day with minimal foot traffic.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Londonderry, New Hampshire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
