We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Easton, Pennsylvania, bringing expertise to enhance the academic, emotional, and social well-being of our students.

Position Summary:
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, counseling, and collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of child development, mental health, and effective interventions for diverse learning and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a meaningful difference in students' lives and skilled in fostering a positive school climate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group assessments to evaluate students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans, collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure effective interventions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Support crisis intervention efforts, including assessing risk and coordinating with school staff, parents, and external resources.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote effective instructional strategies and positive classroom environments.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to assess and develop strategies that address students' needs.
  • Conduct professional development workshops for staff on topics such as mental health awareness, behavior management, and promoting inclusivity.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification in Pennsylvania.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health, and learning processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, families, and community partners.
  • Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations regarding student mental health and special education services.
