We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and ensure the efficient operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in our manufacturing plant.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial HVAC systems, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to maintain optimal environmental conditions within the plant. The HVAC Technician will work closely with the facility management team to ensure a safe, comfortable, and productive environment.

  • Installation & Setup: Install and set up HVAC equipment and components for manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and building codes.

  • Maintenance & Inspections: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. This includes filters, coils, compressors, and electrical components.

  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including refrigerant leaks, faulty thermostats, electrical failures, and motor issues. Perform necessary adjustments and repairs promptly to minimize downtime.

  • System Optimization: Monitor and adjust HVAC systems to maintain precise temperature, humidity, and air quality conditions within the plant for the safety of equipment and personnel.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, plant policies, and environmental standards while working with refrigerants, electrical systems, and other hazardous materials. Perform work in compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including EPA regulations.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document parts used, repairs completed, and inventory levels.

  • Energy Management: Assist with energy conservation programs by suggesting energy-efficient upgrades, performing system audits, and implementing recommended practices.

  • Emergency Response: Respond to HVAC emergencies and breakdowns quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.

  • Collaboration: Work with other maintenance team members, plant management, and contractors to support continuous operations and improve HVAC system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of formal HVAC training or apprenticeship program preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
