Job Posting: School Paraprofessional (Ed Tech III) - Bangor, Maine

Location: Bangor, Maine

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Ed Tech III Paraprofessional for a full-time role in the Bangor, ME area. This position involves working closely with K-4th grade students in a supportive, one-on-one setting, focusing primarily on behavior management and academic support.

Position Overview:

  • Role: Ed Tech III Paraprofessional
  • Hours: 7:15 a.m. - 2:35 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Duration: Starting ASAP through the end of the school year (mid-June)
  • Grade Level: K-4th grade
  • Setting: Primarily 1:1 with individual students; may work with two students as needed
  • Responsibilities:
    • Managing and implementing behavior plans
    • Providing academic support
    • Assisting with lunch or bus duty as required
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school behavior setting is highly preferred

Requirements:

  • MUST have Ed Tech III certification in Maine
  • Strong skills in behavior management and academic support
