Position Overview:
ProCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for the rest of the school year. The Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers and staff to support students academic and personal development, providing assistance in classrooms and working with students individually or in small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional support
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lessons
• Support students with special needs or accommodations
• Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Monitor students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional periods
• Provide support during school events and activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to assist with basic academic instruction and classroom tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher in Education or a related field
• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar role
• Knowledge of working with students with special needs

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $24
