We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Sugar Land, Texas, 77478, United States. This role offers a as a short-term contract. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be entrusted with responsibilities such as managing customer inquiries, overseeing customer accounts, and maintaining accurate customer records.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Take on the task of maintaining and updating customer credit records.

• Provide support to Sales Operations as required.

• Manage the input of bills in a timely and accurate manner.

• Handle the processing of credit cards.

• Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks.

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close procedures.

• Maintain the General Ledger and make necessary journal entries.

• Oversee the management of prepaids and accruals.

• Manage deposit operations into the treasury.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and SyteLine for various accounting tasks.

• The applicant must have at least 2 years of experience as a Sr. Accountant or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• The candidate must have experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Practical knowledge of Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Familiarity with General Ledger management is essential.

• The applicant must be able to handle Journal Entries accurately.

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary.

• Knowledge of SyteLine ERP software is required
