Job DescriptionAs a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding generator housing units for the data and healthcare industries. You will also weld structures and gas tanks, operate press brakes, and move materials as needed. Your role involves assembling materials together for welding and ensuring that all welds are consistent and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities- Assemble and weld generator housing units.
- Weld structures and gas tanks.
- Operate press brakes and move materials.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Execute vertical up and flat welds using flux core and solid wire on Carbon Steel.
- Use tools such as tape measures, triangles, and levels to ensure materials are squared and leveled.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, both flux core and solid wire.
- Ability to execute 1G and 3G welds.
- Experience with structural welding and pressure vessels.
- Knowledge of welding symbols and frameworks.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings.
- Use of tools such as tape measures, triangles, and levels.
- UL12 Certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Solid work ethic.
- Experience in custom shops or pipe welding is advantageous.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in an industrial environment that includes both indoor and outdoor settings. The standard shift is Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.
