Role Overview:
As a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter, youll facilitate communication for students in online educational settings, ensuring they have full access to their classes. This role is perfect for someone passionate about accessibility and helping students thrive in a digital learning environment.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver real-time sign language interpretation during live online classes, ensuring effective communication between students and their instructors.
  • Utilize VocoVisions specialized teletherapy tools to foster an engaging and supportive virtual classroom experience.
  • Adjust interpreting techniques based on each students unique learning needs to maximize their educational engagement.
  • Maintain regular communication with teachers and school staff to ensure alignment with students' academic goals.

Qualifications Were Looking For:

  • Must possess an EIPA score of 3.0 or higher.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, especially in a virtual context.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and commitment to student success.
