Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford's 100-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On's 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world's best battery manufacturer.

The Sales Coordinator at BlueOval SK will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Blue Oval is seeking a Sales Coordinator who has experience reading customer forecast through the EDI system. The incumbent will be in charge of handling and coordinating customer forecast for on time delivery.

  • Could read and receive customer forecast through the EDI system information flow protocols
  • Managing the shared data forecast for on-timely delivery, shipping info (ASN) of the battery parts to the customer plant from our manufacturing site
  • Create and process daily sales orders, and organize daily report of confirmed quantity and actual shipped quantity
  • Work and communicate on a daily basis with our manufacturing sites' Production, Logistics, and coordinate customer on supply plan based on the forecast and delivery schedule
  • Manage Account Receivable (AR) / Account Payable(AP) to make sure there are no discrepancies between shipped quantity
  • Daily communication with respective Customer
  • Prepare and support meeting on site and conference call related to demand, sales, and project timeline
  • Effectively communicate with MP&L and centralized sales team to align production and shipping plan

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business related subject, SCM major preferred
  • 3~4 years or above experience in EDI and SCM related handling
  • Proficient in SAP and MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
  • Verbal / Written Communication Skills
  • Fast learner about products, the state-of-the-art technologies, also adopt well to company culture and process
  • Strong multi-tasking, self-initiative, attention to detail, proactive

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in Battery and (or) automotive industry (or relevant industries) is a plus
