Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Pleasant Lake, Massachuettes

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the development of students by conducting comprehensive assessments, designing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with educators andfamilies.Your contributions will directly impact students' academic success and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' sensory-motor development and functional abilities.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide direct intervention services to address areas of concern and promote skill development.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring that therapeutic goals align with students' academic and developmental objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, speech therapists, and school administrators, to support students' overall growth and success.
  • Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy, and incorporate innovative strategies into your therapeutic approach.
  • Advocate for the needs of students with disabilities and promote a culture of inclusion and accessibility within the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
