Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating manual press brake machines, with a focus on performing multi-bend operations on sheet metal. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the press brake equipment to produce high-quality metal components that meet specified tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manual press brake machines to perform multi-bend operations on various types of sheet metal.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine bending sequences and angles.
  • Select appropriate tooling and set up the machine for each job, ensuring all parameters are met for optimal production.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the bending process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any mechanical issues promptly.
