About the Position:
VocoVision is actively seeking a dedicated Virtual School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This remote, full-time position allows you to work with K-12 students across Maryland, providing essential psychological services in a virtual environment. As a remote school psychologist, you will offer a range of support, including conducting assessments, delivering counseling services, and collaborating with educators and parents to promote students' emotional and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Psychological Evaluations: Perform remote psychoeducational assessments to evaluate student learning and emotional needs.
- Provide Counseling Services: Offer individual and group counseling sessions to support students' emotional and mental well-being.
- Develop Intervention Plans: Work with educators and families to create and implement individualized support plans and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with School Teams: Partner with teachers, parents, and school administrators to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Support Special Education Processes: Assist in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide guidance on accommodations and modifications.
- Crisis Management: Address and intervene in student crises, providing immediate emotional support and de-escalation strategies.

Qualifications:
- Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in Maryland.
- Experience: Experience in providing psychological services in a school or similar educational setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral interventions, IEP development, and crisis intervention. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
