Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Warrior, AL
Start: January 6th - May 23rd, 2025
Job Type: Onsite, Full Time(37.5 hrs/week)
Caseload: PreK-12
Job Description:
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work with students to improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities. Youll assess student needs, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student success.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students' occupational performance and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Provide individualtherapy sessions.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Engage with families to discuss progress and home support strategies.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Alabama.
- Valid state licensure or certification.
- Experience with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to professional development.
