Job Description

Assemble metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams, pouring and finishing concrete. Daily tasks include cleaning and preparing molds, pouring concrete, and finishing concrete. This role involves various activities related to the manufacturing of precast and pre-stressed concrete. The work environment can be hot, sweaty, and dirty.

Responsibilities

• Frequently climb in and out of forms that are 5-6ft tall and narrow.
• Read and understand the Production Schedule and adhere to time frames.
• Assist with the set up and stripping of concrete forms.
• Assist with filling and leveling of the concrete castings.
• Housekeeping duties, including helping clean the shop.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
• Must be able to climb in and out of 5-6ft tall forms that are narrow.
• Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and climb for extended periods of time.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”.
• Proficiency in hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Drama-free with a good attitude, works well with others.
• Ability to use concrete finishing tools.
• Ability to use heavy equipment (e.g., overhead cranes).
• Some woodworking skills are preferable.
• Welding, maintenance, QC, and welding skills are a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
