Job Title: School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Westerly, RI

Do you have experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and enjoy collaborating within a school environment? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based RBT to join our team in Westerly, RI. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in their educational journey.
Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to students in a school-based setting, following individualized behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Implement behavior interventions, teaching strategies, and social skills programs as outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Collect data on student progress and behaviors during therapy sessions, maintaining accurate records to assist in analyzing outcomes and modifying treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents/guardians to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across different environments.
• Support the development of functional communication skills, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in students.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with the BCBA to discuss student progress, provide feedback, and contribute to treatment planning.

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant coursework or degree in psychology, special education, or related field is a plus.
• Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques, including data collection and behavior management strategies.
• Reliable transportation to travel to different school locations within Westerly, RI.
