Full-Time Paraprofessional Position | Walpole, MA | 2024-2025 School Year

ProCare Therapy is pleased to offer a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional role in Walpole, MA, for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support students with special needs in both their academic and social growth while working in a positive, collaborative school setting.

Position Details:

  • Location:Walpole, MA
  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Hours: 8:25 AM - 2:55 PM
  • Start: ASAP
  • End: June 13th, 2025
  • Role: Paraprofessional
  • Caseload: 1:1 support and group support
  • Special Requirements: Must be comfortable working with Autism Spectrum Disorders, eloping behaviors, and emotional/behavioral disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in their academic and social development
  • Support students with behavioral and mental health challenges
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with special education students is required
  • Experience supporting behavioral and mental health needs in educational settings is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a dedication to fostering student success
