Job Description for CVOR RN - 6:30am - 7pm

Position Information:

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Shift: 6:30 am - 7 pm
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36
  • Weekend Call: Minimum 48-hour call every 4th weekend (Saturday-Sunday)
  • Call Requirements: Minimum one weekly on-call shift, starting at the end of the scheduled shift to the following morning (e.g., 6:30 pm - 6 am)
  • Floating Requirements: May be required to float to OR

Required Certifications and Experience:

  • License: Active KY RN License
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CVOR, with at least 2-3 prior travel assignments

Equipment and EMR:

  • Equipment: Mako Robot, DaVinci Robot, Mazur, O-Arm, Rosa Robot
  • EMR: Cerner, PACS

Skills and Preferences:

  • Must-Have Skills: 2+ years CVOR experience, experience with Ortho (Total Joints Arthroplasty), Neuro, Ortho/Spine, Vascular, and General procedures
  • Preferred Skills: Scrub and circulate capabilities
  • Personality Fit: Flexible, adaptable, team-oriented, and willing to take on various tasks as needed
