5th Grade Elementary Math Teacher
Location: St. Matthews, South Carolina
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 5th Grade Math Teacher to join our team in St. Matthews, South Carolina. This full-time position offers the opportunity to inspire young learners and build foundational skills in mathematics. As a key member of our elementary school staff, you will foster a love for learning and empower students to achieve their academic goals in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive 5th-grade math lessons aligned with state standards.
  • Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelors degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Certification: South Carolina teaching certification for elementary education.
  • Strong knowledge of 5th-grade math standards and curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
