Job Title: West Virginia Virtual Gifted Teacher, 25-30 hrs/week
Location: Fully Remote (West Virginia)
Hours: 25-30 hours per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual Gifted Teacher to join our team This position involves working with small groups of gifted students in West Virginia, focusing on their unique educational needs and helping them reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in gifted education, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and challenging virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging virtual lessons and activities tailored to gifted learners.
- Provide specialized instruction for a caseload of approximately 12 students.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student growth.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans that challenge and inspire students.
- Utilize technology effectively to create an interactive and dynamic online classroom experience.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the growth of the gifted program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in West Virginia, with endorsement in gifted education.
- Proven experience working with gifted students in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and best practices in gifted education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using virtual learning platforms and technology.
