We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Onsite School Psychologist to join our team in Waterboro, ME, for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves providing psychological services to students and collaborating with school staff and families to support student well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students needs and provide recommendations.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' educational and psychological needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan interventions for students.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and develop strategies to manage and support students in distress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on psychological and behavioral issues.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Maine.
  • Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience working with a range of student needs, including academic, social, and emotional challenges.
