Description

Key Responsibilities: Pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications. Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment. Tear down and flatten boxes for reuse. Repackage items as needed to ensure compliance with consumer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and guidelines. Responsible for warehouse functions, including unloading and unpacking shipments, inbound processing, scanning, and shelving of parts, pulling orders, and data entry into a computerized inventory control system and inventory control. Does not operate power equipment. May utilize barcode scanning equipment

Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems or basic data entry could be beneficial for tracking inventory and orders. Ability to Operate Warehouse Equipment: Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse machinery can be an asset, although only sometimes required. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to packaging, order discrepancies, or damaged items. Good Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and supervisors ensures smooth operations and accurate order fulfillment. Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet order deadlines and handle high-volume tasks. Physical Stamina: Strong physical endurance to handle the job's demands, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Attention to Safety: Adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changing tasks or priorities in a dynamic warehouse setting. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve common goals and ensure efficient operations. Attention to Detail: Precision in picking and packing orders to ensure accuracy and meet consumer specifications.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
