Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The individual in this role will perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. Responsibilities include receiving and putting away freight/stock, picking and building pallets for orders, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and build pallets for orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist other areas as needed
• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Operate Stand-Up Crown forklifts
• Unload and sort materials with attention to detail
• Solve problems and check for discrepancies
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect conditions
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas
• Complete written and computerized documentation

Essential Skills

• Experience operating Stand-Up Crown forklifts
• At least 1 year of experience using Stand-Up Crown forklifts
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform manual and clerical duties
• Experience with shipping and receiving
• Ability to complete written and computerized documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor experience
• Material handling skills
• Order picking experience
• Ability to use basiloid attachment on Stand-Up Crown forklifts
• Comfortable with a training period involving safety training and on-the-floor tasks

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean, similar to a Costco but even more pristine. The facility places a high emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productivity. The current shift hours are 5am-1:30pm with a swing shift from 10am-6pm. Employees work 46 hours a week, and the dress code requires appropriate safety gear and attire. This is a busy season, so new employees must be prepared to learn new processes and be patient while adapting to the workflow.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00
