Job Description

Inspect products for both inbound and outbound departments to ensure they are free of damage or defects. Audit products and packaging/labeling to maintain the highest level of product compliance and accuracy. Participate in internal audits and ensure quality metrics are captured, analyzed, and communicated to management for improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for damage or defects in both inbound and outbound departments.
• Audit products and packaging/labeling to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Participate in internal audits.
• Capture, analyze, and communicate quality metrics to management for improvement activities.
• Ensure data integrity and quality assurance.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks.
• Correspond to customer specifications or other requirements.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP.

Essential Skills

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• High-level quality inspection skills.
• Experience in cycle counting and internal auditing.
• Strong communication skills for quality improvement activities.
• Attention to detail for maintaining product compliance and accuracy.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm in a clean environment. The role involves assembling various size heavy-duty cases to store lighting accessories, cameras, and other equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayton, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
