ProCare Therapy is in search of a seasoned Certified School Nurse (CSN) for the 2024-25 school year to fill a contract position in the Oxnard, CA area. Key Details:

- Position Type: Full-time, Contract
- Schedule: 35 hours per week
- Duration: August 2024 - June 2025
- Caseload: K-8th grade
- Location: In-person, Oxnard, CA

Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive health services to students, including assessments, screenings, and treatments
- Develop and execute individualized health plans for students with medical requirements
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide necessary first aid
- Maintain meticulous health records and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to enhance student wellness and safety
- Offer health education and counseling to students and families

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) or willingness to apply for preliminary CSN application
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

- Full time: 35 hours per week
- K-8th grade population
