Location: Madison Heights, MI
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 36-40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $40$55per hour, based on experience

ProCare Therapy is partnering with a respected school district in Madison Heights, MI, to find a School Psychologist who is committed to supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. This full-time, in-person position provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

We are looking for an individual with a strong passion for helping students succeed in all aspects of their education. In this role, you will work closely with educators, administrators, and families to provide the services and support needed for student success.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Administer psychological assessments and evaluations to identify academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students social and emotional development.
  • Work in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other staff to address and resolve students' challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 Plans for students requiring additional support.
  • Advise and train staff on best practices for addressing mental health concerns in the classroom.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive school environment for students of all backgrounds.
Required Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Michigan School Psychologist License (or eligible to obtain)
  • Experience in school settings preferred, though not mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations
