Screw Machine Maintenance 3rd Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Screw Machine Maintenance 3rd Shift to join their team. As a Screw Machine Maintenance 3rd Shift, you will be part of the Screw Department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and quality which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Screw Machine Maintenance 3rd Shift
Location: Hamilton, OH
Pay Range: Starting Pay Rate: $22.00/hr. (Pay rate negotiable based on experience) + 3rd Shift Differential of $3.00/hr
What's the Job?
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery.
- Ability to assist in training others.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment per the COGZ Maintenance System.
- Diagnose the source of equipment problems by observing equipment operation and employing trouble-shooting methods.
- Initiate material requests for parts.
What's Needed?
- Machine Maintenance Experience REQUIRED
- Experience - Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in these maintenance areas: mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and trouble-shooting skills. Must be trained in LOTO(Lockout-Tagout). Preferred job experiences include; machine maintenance, auto mechanics, screw machine maintenance, etc
- Mechanically Inclined Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixing things both familiar and unfamiliar. Must be able to read machine drawings.
- Education High school diploma, trade school experience or GED preferred. Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions.
- Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
