Sign Language Interpreter(SLI)

Position Details

  • Sign Language Intepreter
  • Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week
  • Will service children grade levels K - 12
  • Full Caseload Details will be discussed upon first interview.

Availability

    • Full Time
    • Monday-Friday
    • Immediate Start


Education / Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in American Sign Language (ASL), Deaf Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (RID, NIC, or EIPA).
  • Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with school-aged children, is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with Deaf culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and parents.
  • Ability to adapt to various classroom settings and environments.
  • Complies with school, state, and federal policies and procedures. Background Check, Fingerprint Scanning and Drug Screening Required.

Employment Type

  • Full Time, Contract
  • $32+ Hourly - Based on Availability and School Setting Experience.
  • W-2 Pay Structure
