Our premier estate and legacy planning law firm is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to provide outstanding service to our clients while collaborating with attorneys to deliver customized legal solutions.

As a Paralegal at Veliz & Associates, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the probate process, providing them with expert guidance, patience, empathy, clear communication, and personalized attention throughout each stage.

This position requires in-person presence and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those navigating complex probate matters.

$75,000 - $85,000 yearly

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver concierge-level service to clients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular, effective communication and face-to-face meetings.
• Register new corporate entities.
• Draft probate pleadings, corporate agreements, and other documents for attorney review, ensuring accuracy and excellence
• Navigate financial institutions and courts, ensuring all filings and submissions are timely and meet deadlines.
• Manage a proactive and efficient workload, prioritizing tasks to meet client and team needs.
• Meet and exceed key performance metrics monthly.

Skills Needed:

• 5+ years’ experience in probate and corporate law
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to prepare and review documents with precision and accuracy.
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
• High-Level Communication in English and Spanish: Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and legal documentation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: A resourceful approach to overcoming challenges and finding solutions, as well as helping clients navigate external issues.
• Results-driven: Strong focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients.
• Dependability: Consistently reliable, responsible, and proactive in completing tasks.
• Technical Proficiency: familiarity with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel platforms, a plus.
