Soliant Education is committed to providing exceptional educational support services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in the Maspeth area for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their emotional and academic growth.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to students in need.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, counseling sessions, and interventions.
• Stay informed about best practices in school psychology and mental health.

Requirements:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies.
