Job Overview
Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant performs routine tasks in patient care, bedside nursing, and documentation of care provided. They will be a vital part of the team, assisting hands on with patient needs, such as getting them on their feet for 12 hour PT rotations.

Must Haves

  • BLS certification (required prior to first shift)
  • Valid CNA
  • Minimum two (2) years bedside CNA experience

Day to Day

  • Provide patient care services, including bathing with basin-less products, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and perform tasks that enhance their physical well-being.
  • Participate in hourly rounds.
  • Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, and assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
  • Clean and maintain instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
  • Ensure patient rooms are clean and orderly, including making beds.
  • Maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
