Schools - Paraprofessional

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Paraprofessional to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in beautiful Vail, Colorado. As a paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students within the school setting.

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs.
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
• Support students with personal care tasks as needed.
• Facilitate a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and document student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and other staff.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times such as recess, lunch, and transitions between classes.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associates degree or higher in Education or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
