Job Summary

Foodbuy is the foodservice industry’s leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations. Currently, we offer a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a Vendor Onboarding Specialist based in our Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC office.


The Vendor Onboarding Specialist is responsible for working directly with our Vendors (trading partners) to develop and maintain data feeds integral in supporting Foodbuy’s information needs. This process results in the successful capture and processing of Foodbuy customers' purchase transactions, and the generation of manufacturer invoices, customer volume allowance and compliance audits ensuring maximum revenue and savings for those customers.


This position is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data flow into and through various technology platforms. Duties may include on-boarding new business partners, creation of master data, linkage to master data, and root cause analysis to support the Foodbuy revenue tracking model, and to drive key analytics and business initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding activities around implementation and receipt of accurate standardized data from Foodbuy trading partners to support various information needs and processes
  • Manage automated file loads as well as load some manual data files into our Supply Chain system
  • Test and analyze trading partner data to identify gaps in format or content
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of information received from trading partners through analysis and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Foodbuy information needs
  • Ownership impactful business partners
  • Resolve customer challenges related to data
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve complete & accurate data
  • Maintain adherence to contract standards and a basic understanding of those terms
  • Link external data to master data
  • Resolve customer challenges related to data
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications

Seeking an entry-level candidate with solid, strong growth potential - a quick learner with the ability to grasp complex data flows & requirements across multiple systems, as well as impact to downstream and external systems.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Prior experience with contractual terms is preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience working in Excel including pivots and lookups
  • Power BI and/or SQL knowledge may be preferred
  • Financial or trend analysis experience is a plus
  • Open to Minimal travel (if remote) - typically to the corporate office in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA
