Job DescriptionJob DescriptionImmediate need for a receptionist with the LA County Department of Probation You will need to type a minimum of 40WPM for this position and a background check is required. Location: 16350 Filbert St, Sylmar, CA 91342
Hours: Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm w/1hr unpaid lunch
Pay: $18.90hr. *This is what LA County confirmed in their contract so it is non-negotiable.*
Type: Indefinite contract/temp work. You can be on this assignment for many years if you choose. Candidates are welcome to apply for permanent LA County roles after being a contractor for 6 months. It's a great way to get your foot in the door.
Duties: Sit at the front desk and answer phones on a multiline system, greet incoming guests, process paperwork, use Word & Excel, scanning, filing, and data entry.
LiveScan background check required which can take 2-4 weeks to clear.
