Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker with over a year of experience in warehouse or production environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in the production department of a cheese manufacturing facility, performing physically demanding tasks in a cooler environment.
Responsibilities- Placing blocks of cheese on a conveyor belt in a 35-degree cooler environment.
- Being cross-trained in multiple departments, including manufacturing where unflavored cheese blocks are mixed with different varieties.
- Lifting 45 lbs over 50 times per day.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the production area.
- Collaborating with colleagues for efficient production processes.
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse or production environments.
- Ability to lift 45 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in a cooler environment (35 degrees).
- Flexibility to be cross-trained in multiple departments.
- Experience in food production facilities is highly preferred.
- A positive and willing attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Experience in physical labor is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThe production facility is a clean food plant with 15 workers on the production floor. The environment is cool at 35 degrees, and candidates must be comfortable with the smell of cheese. Proper PPE, including hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, ear plugs, and coats, will be provided. Steel-toe shoes are required. The team cleans the entire factory at the end of each shift, and waterproof shoe covers and coats will be provided. The shift is from 6 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays during busy periods.
