ProCare Therapy is currently searching for an experiencedSpecial Education Teacher that specializes in working with Autism caseloads to join one of our trusted school districts located in beautiful Florence, Massachusetts.The ideal candidate will have experience working with students on the autism spectrum and will be adept at creating structured, supportive, and engaging learning environments. This role involves implementing individualized teaching strategies, managing classroom behavior, and fostering a positive learning experience for students with varying levels of autism.

Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • Staff hours: 8:30am-3:25pm
  • Student hours: 8:35am-3:10pm
  • Substantially separate classroom for students with Autism
    • 4 Paraeducators and 7 students ranging between 3rd and 5th grade will be in the classroom
  • More details to be discussed upon interview

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education andthen a Master'sdegree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
  • Active state Licensure
  • Active state Certification
  • Experience working in Social Emotional settings
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
