A bit about us:
We are a fast-growing Infusion Suites company providing therapeutic, intravenous infusions to outpatients. Infusions include biological medications, intravenous immunoglobulin, blood products, and antibiotic therapy. Other services include medication injections and IV Hydration. We’ve grown from 4 infusion suites to 9 in the past year and anticipate growing at a similar pace in 2025. Our 9 locations are in located throughout LA, OC, Riverside, and San Diego. We just opened our first Infusion Suite in Arizona and are continuing to expand throughout the Southwest area of the United States

Care Coordination:
o We contact the physician to confirm receipt of the referral and provide guidance on the next steps.
o We contact the insurance company to investigate benefits and initiate authorization to ensure treatment coverage.
o We contact the patient to schedule an appointment.

Job Details
The Infusion Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of our infusion centers with ultimate responsibility for achieving financial, quality and service goals. Responsible for cost effective, efficient, and safe Infusion Center management while remaining compliant with all applicable State and Federal regulations, professional practice, and accreditation standards. As a department leader, successfully engages staff, acts as a mentor, and exhibits the mission and values of our company on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the daily continuum of care for the specialty services and Infusion services and provides leadership and direction to providers and clinic staff.
2. Directs the work in the departments to ensure the overall workflow offers an optimal patient experience and is managed in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Monitors and supports key business outcomes to include growth, service excellence, and staff performance, patient outcomes and achievements of overall short- and long-term goals of the departments, the organization, and the system as a whole
4. Facility Management: Ensures the smooth functioning of the infusion center by managing all aspects of the facility, including equipment, supplies, and maintenance.
5. Staff Management: Hires, trains, and supervises a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and administrative staff. Assigns duties and responsibilities to staff members and ensures adequate staffing levels.
6. Patient Care: Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by monitoring and evaluating the performance of the healthcare team. Implements and maintains policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
7. Financial Management: Manages the infusion center's budget, including monitoring expenses, analyzing financial data, and implementing cost-saving measures. Collaborates with billing and coding staff to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including state and federal laws, accreditation standards, and infection control protocols. Keeps up to date with changes in regulations and implements necessary changes in policies and procedures.
9. Quality Improvement: Implements quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the infusion center. Monitors key performance indicators and implements strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
10. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, pharmacists, and laboratory staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders, such as insurance providers and vendors.
11. Technology and Equipment: Stays updated with the latest advancements in infusion therapy technology and equipment. Evaluates and implements new technologies to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
12. Emergency Preparedness: Develops and implements emergency response plans to ensure the safety of patients and staff during emergencies or disasters.
13. Documentation and Reporting: Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, staff performance, and operational activities. Prepares reports and presentations for management and regulatory agencies as required.
