Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate and replenish products at competitive market prices.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and reliability.
Assist in establishing pricing guidelines and maintaining sales and gross profit targets.
Understand customer needs and work closely with suppliers to source products in a timely manner.
Coordinate with vendors and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
Serve as the point of contact for assigned product lines, coordinating with the sales team, warehouse, and vendors to resolve product quality issues and manage returns.
Qualifications:

2 to 3 years of relevant buying experience, preferably in the food industry, ideally within supermarket chains.
Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Mandarin or Vietnamese is highly preferred (other languages such as Cantonese or Korean are a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software (e.g., Sage, SAP, NetSuite, etc.).
