Schools - Paraprofessional

ProCare Therapy is collaborating with a school district in the Milpitas, CA area to find a dedicated onsite Paraprofessional for the 2023-2024 school year. While previous experience with behavioral challenges in a school setting is preferred, it is not required.

Position Overview:

• Start Date: Immediate, through June 6, 2025
• Schedule: Full-time, 32-36.5 hours per week
• Caseload: Support for students in grades K-12
• Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing 1:1 support to students
  • Assisting district BCBAs with behavior intervention plans
  • Supporting students in functional academics
  • Helping with life skills, communication, and social-emotional/behavioral needs

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience as a paraeducator or behavior technician
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
