Shift: 4x10 Hour Shifts

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a travel position in Savannah, GA. This role involves performing IR procedures, including sedation and sedation reversal, in a facility with 2 suites/labs. On average, you will handle 5-10 IR cases and 4-7 CT cases per day. The schedule is 4x10 hour shifts with 14-15 on-call days per 12 weeks, including 2 weekends and rotating holiday call. Proficiency with Meditech EMR is preferred. Note: Local candidates must reside more than 101 miles from the facility to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures, including administering and reversing sedation.
  • Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient status and care.
  • Support other areas such as CT, Specials, and Ultrasound as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of patient care and professionalism.
  • Adhere to call requirements with a response time of 30 minutes.

Qualifications:

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology with experience in sedation and reversal required.
  • Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
  • Must live more than 101 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
