Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a dedicated team in a small specialty school near Palos Heights, IL 60463. Key Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Assessments: Conduct thorough Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify the needs of students and develop individualized behavior plans.
  • Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Create, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), ensuring they are tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators, to create effective interventions and positive behavior supports that align with student IEP goals.
  • Ongoing Evaluation: Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to interventions, ensuring the success and well-being of each student.
  • Staff Training: Provide training and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff on implementing behavior plans, reinforcing positive behavior, and using de-escalation techniques.
  • Direct Support: Work directly with students as needed, providing one-on-one behavioral support, guidance, and interventions.
  • Family munication: Collaborate with families to provide guidance and updates on their childs progress, behavior plans, and remended home strategies.

Qualifications:

  • BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) is required.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, behavior management strategies, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students with unique challenges.
