Hiring Sign LanguageInterpreterin Circle Pines, MN for the upcoming 24-25 School Year

ProCare Therapy isworking with a school district located in Circle Pines, MN that is looking to hire a sign language interpreterfor the 2024-2025 school year with the opportunity to renew for the following school year.

The selected candidate will be hired on as a full-time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A full school year contract will be awarded for you to complete. While undergoing your assignment, you will be provided with competitive compensation, weekly paychecks, and superior healthcare benefits through United Healthcare.
Schedule:

  • Full time: 30+hours/week
  • Monday - Friday
  • 1:1 with 21 year-old female student

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation for students in various settings, including classrooms, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support the educational needs of students.
  • Adapt interpreting techniques to meet the communication needs of individual students.
  • Assist in the preparation of educational materials in accessible formats.
  • Always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development sessions as required.

Requirements:

  • EIPA 3.5+, RID or NIC
  • Bachelor's in ASL or Education Interpreting
  • Washington DOE fingerprints
  • Previous school experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
