Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Spanish-Speaking School Nurse for a unique 1:1 assignment supporting a student with significant mobility challenges. This full-time position involves working closely with the student, providing personalized care and ensuring their well-being throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities:

  • One-on-One Care: Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a student with significant mobility difficulties, ensuring their health and safety needs are met throughout the school day.
  • Assistance with Daily Living Activities: Help the student with daily activities, such as transferring from mobility aids, toileting, and eating, ensuring that they can participate in the school environment as fully as possible.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and monitor the students medical needs according to their care plan.
  • Monitoring Health and Safety: Regularly assess the students health status, managing any medical needs that arise, and responding promptly to emergencies.
  • Collaboration with School Staff: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to support the students educational and health goals, ensuring that the student can thrive academically and socially.

  • Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of the students health status, medical interventions, and care provided.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN or LPN license in [Insert State Here].

  • Experience in pediatric care, particularly with students who have mobility challenges or physical disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of medical procedures, including medication administration and daily care routines.

  • A passionate and patient-centered approach to supporting students with significant health needs.
